Q: Why there is no response to the sound for some songs after switched EQ on X5/X3II/X5II?

A: Since EQ adjustment for high sampling rate songs would sometimes cause system delay, so we have set the Equalizer to be invalid for songs that with higher sampling rate than 48 kHz.

Any kind of DSP above 48kHz is resource intensive, especially in real time, so it's not surprising to see there's a limitation.
Turning on the EQ reduces volume by 6dB on X3II, which is I assume to compensate for possible clipping when one band is pushed by +6dB, however in scenarios where only single-band attenuation is required (for example when headphones are sibilant) this presents another obstacle, as some more demanding headphones lose its dynamic range, due to reduced volume. Solution is this - make two modes for equalizer - Booster and Attenuator.
Booster would show behaviour as it is now, and Attenuator would not reduce volume when activated and its bands would start at 0dBFS moving only downwards.

I'd assume the same thing with ReplayGain, once implemented - as currently FLAC supports writing ReplayGain information only to audio files up to 48kHz sample rate.
