How do you reference a music file on TF2 when the playlist is on TF1 in an m3u playlist file. Can you provide an example?

Thanks

Kindly be noted that, the m3u playlist file and the music files should be on the same TF card. Pls click here to know how to creat the external m3u playlists.

Thanks for the quick response. I hope you consider adding the ability to do direct addressing for playlists in the future so playlists can span TF cards.

Sorry for my previous reply which is not correct!
The X5 already can support the m3u playlist with 2 kinds of pathing. One is the relative pathing. And under this circumstance, the m3u playlist and corresponding music files are required to be in the same TF card, which I replied to you before.
The other one is direct pathing, which function you want to get. So yes, the playlists can span the TF card, if they are with direct pathing. When editing the m3u playlist in notepad, pls keep the drive letter at the beginning of each track reference. Take the picture("foobar4.png") in this link: for example, because the folder named Demo is stored in TF1, so you should edit the m3u playlist like this "TF1:\Demo\01 - Fumiko Orikasa - Hoshi no hate -Vocal Version.wav".
Hope that helps.

X1/X3/X5 - FAQ

Here are some addtional remarks. When editing the m3u playlist with the direct pathing, the drive letter at the beginning of each track reference should be "TF1" or "TF2", because only "TF1" or "TF2" can be recognized by the X5. That is to say, for example, if you have 2 Micro SD cards named "Music 1" and "Music 2" displaying on the computer, but when editing the m3u playlist, pls do not add "Music 1" or "Music 2" at the beginning of each track reference, and you should use "TF1" or "TF2".
Pls let me know if you still are not clear about it.
