Hi! I would just like to request two things, if possible:

1. Please add a simple clock. No other features like time zone, alarm. Just a plain, simple clock. I don't have a watch, and I bring my X1 more than my phone.

2. Please include the functionality of .nomedia file, which excludes the folder from being detected when browsed through catergories - all songs, genre, etc. I have some music I want to put in my DAP, but I don't want them to be included in my randomization. Please save me from making playlists.

IDK if this is possible.
IDK too if there are threads about this. Already used the search feature but didn't find anything.

Hi, coiscroix, thanks for these suggestion. 1. yes, we are considering to add this function as many customers responsed this need to us.
2. Frankly, it is hard as if you update the media lib, all the folder will be detected. Only playing through browsering the folder can avoid this.
Anyway, we will record this need.

Hello,
I am using the X1 (which I love more than my family) with a 128 GB microSD card and it totally rocks. This equates to a little over 6000 titles for the moment.

With a library this large the Album, Song and Artist categories have become absolutely useless. The reason being that if for example, I'm looking for a song who's title starts with the letter M, I can record that song myself in the time it takes me to find that song by turning the wheel for days on end while browsing one title at a time. I'm exaggerating a little bit but only a little bit.

Would it be possible, in a future firmware release, to add an acceleration feature to the wheel so that if a user turns the wheel at a certain speed for say 1.5 rotations (9.4 rad) the user starts browsing through letters of the alphabet instead of each entry in the list (be it a song, artist or album) one at the time?

I think that would be awesome.
In any case, keep up the good work. You guys are doing great things.

Cheers,
John

Hello to all,

I'm new here and read already a lot about this unit. I've got the X1 a few days ago as a replacement of my slowly fading away Trekstor Vibez.

I'm really pleased of this DAP - and up to now all my beliefs are covered. Especially the sound experience with my Bose in-ears is great and they already sound great with my Vibez.

The only things to do were loading the battery and the SD card und update the firmware - all without any problems.

I like the clean menues and agree that the first thing with this DAB is listening to music.

But the surfing through the files is a real pain. The fastest way is to scroll into the folder directly, but searching a song, album or artist is annoying.

Speeding up the scrolling when scrolling ongoing may be one way. What about an alphabetical pre-selection when looking for a song, album or artist - please see picture - what my old fellow offers:

Creative Labs Zen players have something like this. It beasts the fast wheel spinning every time, and is the best idea to implement.
