200GB Sandisk arrived just today. Working perfectly so far, no stuttering for DSD 2.8MHz tracks.
Formatted to FAT32 through GParted, then adjusted cluster size to 4K through Acronis Disk Director.
Read tests in X3II shows more than 3MB/s read for 4K random access. Sequential read and write inside X3II 7.5MB/s !

Just to confirm that I am using a Sandisk 200GB card (gives 180GB) with the FiiO X7 with no problems.  I formatted the card using a PC as ExFat with 128bit segments which I believe is the default and copied across my music library. Took about 2.5 hrs to copy 150GB.

This also works fine using Dapper and iTunes - plugged directly into Mac rather than using USB cable to X7 as my guess is that this would be too slow for anything more than a few additions from itunes.

The 200gb SanDisk microSD card works just fine in my X5 (version 1).  I took it out of the package, put it in slot #2, formatted, loaded tunes.  I have yet to run into anything like skipping, stuttering, pauses between tracks etc.

Your mileage may vary on what I'm about to say.  Have your salt shakers ready.

I would never buy anything like this from eBay (or related/affiliated sites), Alibaba (or any related/affiliated sites), Overstock, or Jet.  If I don't find a good sale from a brick-&-mortar retailer in my neighborhood, then I buy from Amazon... because Amazon has earned my trust.

The old adage remains:  "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!"

Editing to add:  I tried to include an image of my "About" screen, but apparently I'm not yet cleared to add images to my posts.  Click here to see it.

Just ordered the X1 off Amazon, receiving it tonight. Already have the 200gb microsd (got it with my LG V10 for free!).

Do I need to format in Fat32 or Ex-Fat? I'm seeing both being done.

You can format the card in the X1 I believe, anyway it's suggested to format the card in FAT 32 32 K sector but some users suggest FAT 32 4K to avoid stutters

I recently put a sandisk 200 GB in my X3k. While it does work fine, the player really cannot keep up with this many files. It takes a dog's age to open a category or album.

Hi, nintendoeats, have you formated your sd card in x3k then transfer files back to test? How many songs do you have in x3ii?

No, I formatted it as exFAT in Windows. Is there really a chance that could make a difference? Going through that process would take half a day.

I have 10,365 songs on it at the moment.

FAT32 format may be compatible well with x3ii. It is suggested to format the sd card x3ii then transfer files back. I think this can improve it more or less.
