@shitzu
Did you have a Link for this information?
There is nothing about it on the Sandisk Site.
Thx
Adam
P.S.
The only Thing i´ve seen is a 200Gb MSD Card from LEXAR.

Hi, i think x7 with am1 can drive those headphones, but i cant guarantee that the sound is great. It is suggested to test it.

To the battery, if it is dead, you could open x7 to replace. It is not hard to do.

I've read the thread and heard people testing FAT32 and ExFAT, but has anyone tried NTFS which I heard these units can play?  The only reason I wanted to use NTFS was to avoid losing files with quick removal (yes, I know the answer to that is, "well, don't do that....", I'd rather not lose anything the one time something bad happens)

Thanks!

Hi, alissa914, yes, NTFS formation will also be okay although FAT32 is most comaptible with the players.

I use the X5ii with two sandisk ultra 200GB, one for losless music, one for audio-books in mp3.
Works fast when used folder-mode.

I have a bunch of FiiO devices and can confirm the Sandisk 200GB as well as Samsung EVO256 cards work fine. There is a BIG speed difference if you get a fast vs slow card though.

The Samsung EVO gets transfer speeds much higher than the SanDisk:

I published more info here: https://www.map-pin.com/_docs/CardSpeeds.pdf

I have been using both a 200gb Sandisk and a 256gb Samsung and have been working fine. Today I just "upgraded" to the 3.3.3 firmware (under 5.1) and all of a sudden it cant even see the large disks at all.  I reinstalled 3.0.1 and it couldnt see it then either ..... I dont know if the got damages or what.  The SDs seem to be fine on other devices.   Probably an important note .... File Explorer sees the SD present and recognizes how much data is on it but does not see any files on the disk.   The 3.1.1 software however looks really nice ..... just wish i could get it to see my files.  I'll update as I progress.

slight update to earlier post .....  re flashed the X7 then I reformatted and the Samsung 256 GB and the 200 GB Sandisk ... and both work fine now.

I was plagued right after I got my unit (vers 2) with the Google services problem .... but 3.0 and up pretty much fixed that.  I'm delighted with the direction this is going! can see and appreciate the improvements each beta offers!

And the card will work for 512 GB?
well for example such:

The first microSD card on 512 GB is announced

The Californian company Microdia specializing in release a flash carriers and accessories has presented at the Computex exhibition in Taipei the microSD card with a record capacity of 512 gigabytes. The cost of the novelty intended for professional photographers - more than 1000 dollars.

Let's remind, the previous record of capacity of tiny memory cards of microSD the size is less than nail - 200 GB - has been established by the SanDisk company quite recently. In March of this year such card has been announced on MWC in Barcelona. Still the previous year SanDisk has obeyed microSD capacity in 128 gigabytes.

To a theoretical limit of capacity of cards of microSD of the SDXC format - the 2nd terabyte - to producers it is still far though some smartphones already support maps of such capacity. Now, having got a novelty from Microdia (sales promise to begin in July), it will be possible to receive the smartphone with the volume of internal memory unprecedented earlier.
