Reinstall Android 4.4 to X7 After 5.1 Install

Due to a few reasons I want to reinstate Android 4.4. having installed 5.1.  Can anyone tell me the best way to do this please?

Didn't work for me. Plugged the X7 into the USB cable whilst holding the volume up button, but wasn't recognized by the device manager. It came up as "Portable device" and when I tried to update driver, windows 10 (Using the windows 8 64bit drivers) said the latest driver was already installed.

Pls be sure that you didn't set the Button Mapping. Maybe you could try another usb jack or PC to test if possible?

Tried all of those. On another windows 10 pc, it did come up "unknown device", but failed during the install. Luckily, it didn't brick my 1 week old X7!!!

Are you sure you can go back to Android 4.4? Has anyone at your end done it?

No need to answer my query, even though it looks like you weren't anyway. I have my X7 for sale. 10 days old. Must be a record!

Sorry about that. So you want to go back to Android 4.4 or just want to upgrade it to Android 5.1? If you  burned you x7 to Android 5 and want to go back to 4.4, you don't need to install the driver. Just replace the iso file in 5.1 folder with the iso file you get from this link. https://www.dropbox.com/s/smkro6 ... th%20FW2.0.zip?dl=0
