FW1.1.3大图.jpg

The following changes and improvements have been made to FW1.1.3 compared to FW1.1.2

1. Fixed issue where a scan may fail on too many songs with embedded album cover
2. Added the function of Play through Artist/ Genre/Album (turn ON the Play through folders setting)
3. Modified Album to be the default display choice under the list of Artist/Genre
4. Fixed issue where FiiO Music may exit abnormally when playing songs from other paths after playing songs over DLNA
5. Fixed issue where incorrect display after removing and recovering the songs cover
6. Fixed issue where AIF files can not display album cover
7. Fixed issue where MCU may fail to update
8. Optimized the scanning speed of media library

Note: After this upgrade, it is suggested to delete the album(internal_sd\FiiOMusic) folder firstly, then scan songs on FiiO Music again. Please make sure the FiiO Music is closed before deleting the album folder.

I am just grateful (and impressed) that they fixed this issue so quickly!

I never even used it without the upgrade, but mines still sounds better than gen 2.  I also think louder is better as I have a lot  of older files, and once you hit the volume ceiling, there is nowhere to go, but you can always turn it down...
