X7 Screen fog

I've emailed FiiO support about this but gotten very little repsonse - My FiiO X7 which is just 17 months old has started to get a screen fog around the edges. I can state categorically that it has never gotten wet or damp and is always stored inside.
Has anyone else experienced this? Have you gotten any resolution from FiiO? I love the player, but I don't appreciate the prospect of a failed screen. Player function is same as always. It's only the screen.

From the picture, it should be the screen issue and the X7 is required to change the screen.

So now FiiO has  acknowledged receipt of the X7, has stated its "the screen issue" so I don't know if this is common or otherwise.
But I asked for some kind of progress report 8 days ago (can they fix or no? How long will they have it? How much is this going to cost?) and heard nothing back. Last time I got silence I posted here and got a response, so hoping for the same again..

Anyone out there?

I am having the same issue, but not as bad as your customer above. I would like to know if I should send my unit in too and if so how much will it cost.

Never had a problem with Fiio regarding failure to reply.
I have had several queries and always had a reply and problem solved.
Check your spam folder etc

Wicked late to this party, but if you check back here...its not good news. They finally swapped out screens at my cost, although they shipped back at their cost. They had to wait for parts and I had to chase down responses to get updated over the course of the 8-12 weeks it was gone.
And I have the same issue again now. My X7 has never seen moisture, doesn't get used outside except inside the car. If I'm traveling, I take the player with me inside, so it doesn't even sit in the car. There's no reason for this or for the amount of calling into the void to get a response. Combined with the lack of updates these days for the X7 and the number of errors I get that make the player fail (OS failed to load, Player has stopped, etc) I guess I'll have to move to some other brand of player when the time comes to replace.
Hate to do it, the X7 sound is absolutely fine ( I mean that in the best way), but it shouldn't keep having these problems.

Sorry, but there's no way I'm going to send the unit back again. It ended up costing me quite a bit in shipping and repair, I couldn't insure it for full value per your instructions (your concern over VAT), and I didn't have it for a couple/few months. Combined with the problems I had getting responses from you all, and concern over whether I would even ever see it again, I'll just deal with it until it dies.

Love the player and I appreciate the offer, but no way. I see plenty of folks jumping to your defense saying you respond quickly, but its just not my experience and I can see a plenty of others with the same experience as mine.
