Well, Fiio has to deal with many bugs in their products. not just my X7 1st generation. Do something about it! better beta testers. and do not put premature products on the market. Fiio gets a very bad name. If you can not make good products on Android. stop it!

I can confirm that the new firmware fixed gapless playback for ALAC files, but gapless for AAC files is still broken.

I have just played a .WAV file of Led Zeppelin's Celebration Day.  The gapless is perfect, no glitches at all.  DSD and FLAC are perfect as well.  Many thanks FiiO.

I don't have any AAC files which the previous poster had problems with.

That was using FiiO Music.  I tried the DSD file with Hiby Music and the tracks were playing in the wrong order.

It's always a challenge for manufacturers to maintain the constant update for Android devices. Though it still has bugs but we're working on it. Hope you could kindly understand.

Could you share some AAC files for us to test? Maybe a download link?

"I tried the DSD file with Hiby Music and the tracks were playing in the wrong order." Please kin ...

Hello FiiOBryant.  I played the DSD64 version of Dark Side of the Moon in Hiby Music.  All my files are in folders and I usually select the first track and they play in order.  When I tried the DSD album, it started with the first track and then randomly jumped to the 4th or 5th track and after playing that track, it jumped to an earlier track.

It plays perfectly and in the correct order in FiiO Music, which I normally use, so I was not too bothered.

APOLOGIES.  I HAVE JUST CHECKED IT AGAIN TONIGHT AND FOUND THAT HIBY MUSIC IS SET TO "SHUFFLE ALL" AND I CAN'T FIND A WAY OF SWITCHING IT OFF.  IT WAS OBVIOUSLY USER ERROR

Is the new support to DSD256 native?

Is the balanced mode made SRC on DSD files?

Thanks
