Firmware for X7MKII: Click here.
How to upgrade: Click here.
Instruction of using FiiO Music app: Click here.

2. How to upgrade the FiiO Music app on FiiO Android music player?
In the latest firmware of X7-FW3.3.4/X5III-FW1.2.0/X7MKII-FW1.0.5, we have allowed the individual update of FiiO Music. There will be update push for the FiiO Music.

①. Online update
After connecting to WiFi, please open the FiiO Music and wait for a few seconds, and the update notice will pop up. Click "install" to upgrade the FiiO Music directly.
If choose "Next prompt", it will skip the update for once and will pop up notice next time you open the FiiO Music app. If choose "Ignore", it will skip the update of this version.

②. Manual update
a. Set the player to storage mode and connect to computer, drag the downloaded FiiO Music (.apk) to the internal storage of your player.
b. Disconnect the connection and enter ES file manager, find the FiiO Music app in internal_sd and click install.
(Here is the FiiO Music app V3.4.1 (.apk): http://fiio-file.fiio.net/FiiO%20Music3.4.1.apk. This app only can be used on FiiO Android Music players, but NOT other Android devices.)

When the FiiO Music is successfully installed, you could go to FiiO Music ->Setting->About APP->FiiO Music VX.X.X and find out the version of the app, for example FiiO Music V3.4.1.

PLEASE correct This as soon as possible. It is not logical to play tracks alphabetically rather than their track number

They released an update to fix this problem. Just go to the firmware download and get the latest update FiioMusic3.4.1.

For example if you have the Fiio X5 III Gen you can get it from the link provided here. Just go to the Download secction at the right of the page, and click the last one. "Fiio Music3.4.1"

I just upgraded to 3.3.4 on my X7 and I'm still experiencing crashes when playing music in a third party app, Droidsound-E whenever I change songs.  I can play one song, but when I change to play another one (or sometimes on the third song), the app crashes and I'm directed back to the homescreen.

This bug has been around since FW3.3.0 was released.  I didn't have this issue with FW2.0.

https://github.com/droidmjt/Droidsound

I've tried performing a factory reset on my device and this crash still occurs.

Hi, maybe you could send over the crash log and we could ask our engineer to check out what's happening.

Hi,

I have attached a log of the crash happening.  In the log I perform the following actions (to pass on to your engineers):

- I launch Droidsound-E from the launcher
- Navigate to a song on the device located on the internal storage (01 Baby Baby.m4a)
- Let it play for a few seconds
- I tap the next song icon to play the next song (02 My Radio.m4a)
- App crashes back to the launcher (Fatal Signal 11)

This behaviour happens with every file type I try as well as loading songs from internal storage and SD card.

Hopefully, this will be enough information for your engineers to resolve the issue.

Thanks!

Hi
I just upgraded to 3.3.4 on my X7 and now crack some albums with HDraks . Only when playing on the Fiio player. On HiBy and other third-party players there are no problems.

Are you sure that the link to the X7 MKII firmware is good ?

The regular filename should be "X7II-ota-1.0.5.zip" but it is "X7-ota-3.3.4.zip" ...

Basically the link is currently the same for X7 and X7II.

X5 3Gen sucks

Edited by xnashx at 2018-3-18 05:01

I have an X5 3rd Gen and... what a sh*t... all the songs are no longer in the original album's order!!!
every new firmware always include a new bugs!!

Now i have a some albums in 192/24 with a lot of noise, like marvin graves and louis amstrong.. wtf?!?!?!?!  how is that possible when the previous firmware was ok?!?!?!
I have been checked all my Flac 192/24, and all of them have the same fuc***g noise problem, specially with the BASS, and nothing of this was wrong in the previously firmware.

My gosh... this will be my last FiiO and fired all your engineers

Hi I am reporting this already but get no reply. The X5 III does not work properly when used with K5 dock. It gives an error "System no response, pls disconnect usb cable". Furthermore the player does not become active when powering up the dock. It simply show it is charging. I have to manually start the player (on/off button) in order to operate it. BTW the player has all the latest software/firmware
Thanks

Hi I am reporting this already but get no reply. The X5 III does not work properly when used with K5 ...

The on/off problem with the X5III and K5 (but not with K5 married to an XI or X3) is also mentioned for months now in a different thread (http://fiio.me/forum.php?mod=vie ... light=x5%2BIII%2Bk5) , alongside an even more serious problem of repeated audio drop outs, none of which is even adressed (or replied to) by Fiio.

I had to change to another USB-lead from the boxed one to get my X5III working,

This has been fixed in the FIIO music update.  If you put your X7 on wifi and run the FIIO Music app it will, after a few seconds, prompt you to update.    If that doesn't work you can download the APK file here: http://fiio-file.fiio.net/FiiO%20Music3.4.1.apk

Full instructions are here if I missed anything: http://fiio.net:8000/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=43066

Good luck!
