Hi,

I just bought the BTR3 and would like to use it primarily as a DAC for my ASUS laptop together with some Sennheiser HD 25 headphones (to replace the bullshit laptop soundcard).

I saw that initially, after I plug the BTR3 to the computer, you need to press the power button to start the DAC function and the logo led indicator becomes white (DAC function enabled) only when I play music from the laptop.
Otherwise, when the music is not playing, the intermitent blue logo appears.( probably meaning that the device is waiting to pair on a bluetooth connection).

I have 2 questions:

1. Is there any way to start the device(the DAC function) without pressing the power button?

2. How is the DAC function affecting the battery usage? - More specific, the DAC function uses the battery power when the device is plugged to the laptop and turned on or it uses USB power?

Regards,
Ion
