Frozen screen problem Fiio m3k

same problem here, but I found this non oficial firmnware, I installed it ,play a few song and reinstall original firmware and my M3K is still rocking like the first day.

rockbox player work well, so I assume 1.4.3 player is shit
update: still cannot boot 1.3, I guess rockbox is last thing it can run

my player did that after 5months of working well. It was on 1.4.3

I tried resetting it, removing SD, reinstalling 1.4.3, but nothing works.
It just stays like that.

It seems that this is a major issue that affects the model itself, and not just my player!

Hello,
another user here with the same problem.
My M3K was running fw 1.4.3 and has worked fine for about a year.
Now it's showing the "Welcome" screen and stays stuck there.
Tried to start it with/without microSD, nothing changes.
Tried the fw above (http://fiio-firmware.fiio.net/M3K/0309beta/M3K.fw) without success.
That's frustrating to say the least.

Then follow this instruction to update the beta firmware:

Hello,
what you have written above is not a solution. Retried 3 times more flashing the M3K with the beta firmware, tried also another microSD: the upgrade process always proceeds till the end and finishes successfully but at the reboot the M3K stays suck at the "Welcome" screen. You have to report this to the fw engineers; the problem is obviously related to the software. I've written to the support email "support@fiio.com" to know how to get a replacement unit and no answer since days now and counting.

The "beta 0309" didn't work, so I gave up and returned the player to Amazon for a refund.

Is the problem resolved now with 0312?
if it is, then I will consider buying it again.

Fix the link! I had to remove the period (.) before I could download the Firmware beta because it kept giving me a XML error webpage.
