FiiO M9 sounds low volume by bluetooth

Hello

I have just bought the new Galaxy Buds. They connect immediately to my FiiO M9 by bluetooth but the output volume is low. Even if I set 120 the sound it is not very high!
I have already tried with the "
Disable absolute volume option" as suggested by the FAQ but nothing change :-(
Are you aware of this issue? Do you have any solutions?

Is your Bluetooth headphone volume adjustable? If yes, please try to increase the volume for your headphone as well.

Thank you for the replay.

To answer to you, the samsung galaxy buds don't have physical  volume button so I can not adjust the volume. There is some sound control but only by the app "Galaxy Wearable (Samsung Gear)" that I can not use on the FiiO M9.
So at the end the volume is controlled only by the player. I tried at  the maximum but still the sound is not loud :-(

Dear friend,

Can you set the volume of the headphone to higher value by installing the app in your mobile phone first. Then connect it to the M9 again?

I tried like this, I set them at maximum but after when I connect the headphone to the M9 again, nothing change :-(

Can you please forward the request to put in white list the galaxy wearable app? Maybe for a future update.

I have the same problem.
Using the FiiO M9 with my bluetooth-headphones Sony WF-1000XM3 the output-volume is much lower than using my smartphone.
120 is too low volume to use it in the gym, i bought the fiio for.

I have the same problem with my Sony WHH900. Volume lower than using smartphone,.

same problem with my sennheiser BT 4.50, i suppose is a firmware limitation of the headset.

i have the same problem with my Marshall Monitors BT, Sennheiser 4.50BT, all volumes are already on high on each devices, also can we install the app for the galaxy buds + on the M9? i thought the android update already allowed third party installations? i hope you can fix this!  this is a great hassle for us customers.

i have Airpods 2 and with this method it changes nothing at all . What should “disable absolute volume “ do exactly? it’s still 120 max and the volume didn’t change at all

Dear friend,

Which player are you using? Or please try to reset the Airpods and check again:

Put your AirPods in their case—keep the lid open.
Hold the button on the back, as shown above, for three to five seconds until the amber light blinks three times.
Close the lid.
On your iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth > AirPods and Forget This Device, as shown below.

I'm having the same problem with my Sony WH1000XM3 headphones and my Volvo Sensus infotainment system. The volume is unacceptably low when connected by Bluetooth and much lower than any other device that I have connected to the same systems.

You can solve this following the below steps.

1) go to M6 Settings -> General -> About device

2) tap on the 'Build number' for 7 times to enable the Developer options

3) return to Settings, enter Developer options and toggle on the ' Disable absolute volume' option

Does the issue still remain?

If yes, please try the Volume Booster GOODEV app to see whether it helps?

Ok, i have a M9 with AirPods Pro, did everything what you suggested (disable absolute volume option, reset AirPods Pro) and NOTHING worked. That's really annoying. I tried to install GOODEV.....no chance to install this App on the M9. Can you recommend a proper working version of GOODEV?
