Hello

I have an X3 MK-III of which I am fond.

I now want to use it to drive Final Audio E5000 (14 Ohm / 93dB sens.)  and E4000 (15 Ohm / 97dB sens.)

Both are under the minimum recommended impedance of 16 Ohm for the X3, but I'm unable to do the proper math to know if, taking sensitivity into account too, the X3 will in facts be "too weak" to properly drive those IEMs or, on the contrary, it will anyway do his regular good job.

My doubt is that, if effectively underpower in relation to those, the X3 would not be able to properly power the drivers inside the IEMs, resulting in "duller" or anyhow suboptimal sound output.

Thanks in advance for your support

Best
A.

Dear friend,

I did not try the headphones you mentioned so I failed to share the experience to you. And due to individual preferences, you could read the professional reviews and comparisons, as well as try out by yourself.

Best regards
