Hello, fellows! I'm a happy M9 owner and I love it, sounds amazing. But, after upgrading the firmware to 1.0.6 (through the device's online update tool), I'm experiencing software issues with the touchscreen. It simply stops responding after a short period of use. Everything else works fine (power button, pause/play button, volume, fwd/rwd buttons). At first, I suspected that it could be a hardware issue with the touchscreen, but I plugged in an USB-C mouse and got the same issue (works for a short period of time, then stops responding). I tried to downgrade the software through local update (I downloaded ver. 1.0.5 from FiiO and put it in a freshly formatted SD-Card), but got an error after the update starts (a sad android bot with "error" in the middle of the screen). Is there another way to downgrade the firmware or anything else to fix it?

Dear user,

Firmware downgrading is not supported in the M9.
Or you could try to enter the recovery mode (power button+next track button)and  try to wipe the data first.

Thank you for your answer! Aparently, my touch screen is gone =/ I tried to wipe the device off, but again the same issue showed up. It's sad, I really enjoyed it's sound while it lasted =/

About an year ago, from eBay... I'm quite sure there's no FiiO support here in Brazil. I've sent an e-mail to the support DL, but apparently my mails are being considered spam
