I am getting a lot of crackling/pops with the FiiO K3 during playback!

Windows 10, AMD 3700X, X570 Aorus Ultra motherboard. When i plug my headphones in my motherboard audio out I get NO ISSUES whatsoever. I only get issues playing through the FIIO K3. I tried changing the audio buffer to be very large 2048 samples at 48000hz, 16 bit. I tried reinstalling ASIO, the software for K3 and this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChiROFNHObo

Nothing worked I am STILL getting crackles with my K3. I am REALLY disappointed.

Please no GENERIC fixes (reinstall windows, clear cache etc).

Hello,

Did you try another usb port and cable? The K3 is usb 1.0 or 2.0 mode? There are no ASIO driver for K3 provided by us. Do you mean the 4.47 DAC driver instead?

Best regards

I tried switching ports, i have quite a modern motherboard and I have a lot of them, 3.0, 3.1 red, blue etc. Popping is still there, mostly in CHROME.

I have the DAC driver yes, with Streaming ON (to avoid clicking when no sound is playing but this isn't that). I tried both USB 2 and 1 mode.

I played with the latency output / output format 32bit to 16 bit, 192khz to 44.1khz...

Hello,

Does the issue remain in both the 2.5mm and 3.5mm port?  When and where did you get the K3?

Best regards

I only use 3.5mm, do not have a 2.5mm cable.

I got my K3 around 2 months ago from Amazon.de

Also i think the crackling comes mostly while using Chrome

Hello,

Doesn't the crackling comes when using another software? Try another usb cable and port? You could also try to contact your local seller to see if it helps?

Do you have an old USB2 hub?
Try connecting it through that and not directly to the USB3 port on your computer.

What will ...

The seller could help replaing or repairing the product for you if it is a hardware issue.
