BTR5 won't come on

I have a brand new BTR5 that was working perfectly until I reset it from the app. I was trying to re-enable ldac as the primary codec but it would'nt change no matter how many times I tried it. So I decided to reset the device with the option provided in the FIIO control app. Since I did this the device refuses to come on. I tried resetting it by holding the power button as well and still no luck. After I do the reset with the button and plug it into my laptop or a charger the screen flashes for a moment then goes off again. Is there a way for me to fix my device? I can't seem to get it on no matter what I do.  
It was on firmware 2.0

Dear user,

Please try to charge the player using the computer for about 30mins, then hold the power button for 30s to force a restart.


If the issue still remains,
please discharged the product (1 night to be sure) and to check several times it is fully empty.
Re-load again the battery,
And after (at least one hour to be sure), switch on again the product.

Can the problem be solved now?

And does your mobile phone support LDAC?

Hello,
I am experiencing the same problem unfortunately.
The screen will not turn on, and it will also not enter DFU Mode.
Windows recognizes it as a device, but can't use it as sound output at all.

What can I do?

Do not charge it for about 1day. Then charge it again using the computer and hold the power button for 30s to force a restart.

HI,

How to made sure it have been discharge, nothing appear on the screen.
Have left for few days then only charge on pc but nothing working, My unit is totally dead.
Nothing appear on the screen and the pc cant even detect any device.
Please help, my unit is only few weeks.

I have the same problem. Received the BTR5 today, changed the custom EQ and since then it is bricked. It will not turn on. I tried the 10 sec, 30sec button press. I connected to laptop. Nothing. I will return it

I think all have the similar units problem, We are the unlucky one.
I having problem to send back due to my country lock down.
So frustrated only  used for less then a month.

Same here, stopped working after a device reset, that I had to do because the device wasn't turning ldac on. 3 days discharging and nothing, and 1h charging and nothing. Bought mine on Ali Express, they just ignored my contact and closed the dispute.

No I didn't because Fiio authorized Store don't ship to Brazil.
The unity is dead, won't turn on or charge, I left for 5 days discharging as per instructions in this fórum and then charged for one day, but didn't work.
