Please reply to my question FiiO

Also my other question is, can I change mode from TX, RX, DAC in FiiO app ? or have to manually switch slider on device which is not comfortable.

I think should be IR remote included to this device, and also USB support higher than 16/48kHz.

Why is the LDAC transmitting not supported when connecting the BTA30 in USB input mode?
It resulted from our product location (cost control) and lack of awareness about the current market. Mainly, the USB input process of the BTA30 is handled by the CSR8675 chip yet without the LDAC transmitting codec provided by Sony. If the BTA30 is popular among consumers, we would consider an independent USB chip added in the future, such as the commonly-used XMOS chip.

In this way, the USB data would first be converted to I2S signals and later be transmitted to the 8675 chip, which supports LDAC transmitting.

As for the question of whether it would support the LDAC transmitting via USB-in in the future, we would like to say that if SONY supports us, we would definitely make it. Otherwise, it would be impossible. But nowadays, we just cannot assure it.

Best regards

Thank you FiiO for clear technical answer.

Please FiiO consider add to BTA30 simple IR remote, with Power On button, and work mode TX, RX, DAC button, this would be very good way to change working mode from distance.

Also add option in FiiO app to change mode.

Manually slide switch on device is not very comfortable for someone who want to use alternately this device as transmiter and receiver connected to two devices.

When it comes to BTA30 popularity, I think it's the only one on market existing LDAC transmiter working with PC, so I think it is very popular now and will be more and more.

We have recorded your feedback.

As for the IR remote, since it was not planed in the devolving time. It may not be added now.
